Pesticide Information 

The Michigan Department of Agriculture notified all schools that the regulations regarding the use of pesticides have been updated. The updates were:

(1)          Parents have the right to be notified prior to any pesticide applications.

(2)          By September 30 of every year each school has to have a listing of those students that wanted to be notified prior to any use of pesticides. 

(3)          The use of spray pesticides by any school district personnel is prohibited. If a spray pesticide is used in a classroom, then the classroom cannot be reentered for at least 4 hours.
